So does jumping come into play with a sack that has diving involved?

All forms of diving tackles (like sacks) use jumping to mediate the outcome of the (diving) attempt.

Does jumping increase the radius of a sack for a defensive end?

Yes, because a sack is just a tackle, albeit a tackle targeting a specific player that activates a few particular SAs.

I know there's a Bort quote on this but I wrote down the particulars some time ago. Jumping increases the radius of all forms of diving tackle attempts. It doesn't increase the radius of a normal tackle attempt though. Should the ball carrier enter the "zone" (radius) of the tackler then it would trigger a tackle attempt. Since a diving tackle is a normal tackle enhanced from the Jump skill then the tackle radius of a diving tackle is always a bit bigger than a normal tackle so, in theory, you could trigger a diving tackle without triggering a normal one.
