woooot wooot finally recovered my dam password. any one still remember or in touch with the quad city coalition that used to be around?

I've never heard of Quad City, but welcome back all the same! Plenty of people here... not as many as before, of course, but not really dead either. If you can't find your old friends, you can make new ones!

Quad city was around mid season early 2013 lol so it would be the vets who would know me ha. Plus i was strictly STC. But already made a ton of new friends and found a few old. Always strong love for the game

Not to flex, but I was here for the tail end of Season 2, stuck around into the 40s, and then came back for Season 69. So, uh, I think I count as a vet.

I got started down this path by Madden simulation leagues. If no one knows what tat means, you'd get 1 player. He'd be created in one of the Madden games (like 2005) and his baseline attributes would be 20. Then you'd do, essentially homework, like writing articles and doing some graphic design, to earn points. Those points would get added to your player, on the website. Then some poor schlub would have to take all of the updates from the website and update the Madden file, 1 player at a time.

Games would be played, and the results typed out play-by-play style back onto the website.

F-ing joy. I have no idea wtf I was thinking at the time.

yes an immediately fell in love. used to love joining in the discussion on upgrading the game
