Using the almighty magic predicticating spreadsheet:
(Winners listed first.....I really can't be asked to make them all bold)
ALPHA:
Berlin Blitzkrieg vs. Lyon Sharks (56 - 10)
After an upset loss last week to FTA that ended their 9 game winning streak, Berlin will look to bounce back against an upstart Lyon team. Lyon gave their playoff hopes a shot in the arm last week with a huge upset over AWC, but will need more of the same if they want to make a push for the postseason.
Woodridge Lumberjacks vs. LC Who Dats (31 - 24) (but also 18 - 24 for LC) *GOTW*?
A great matchup of two 9-2 teams fighting for control of the conference. The Woodridge Lumberjacks, after starting off with 7 straight wins, will look to get back on track after losing 2 of the last 4. The Who Dats have been a nice suprise this year, and will look to continue their ride to the top. This one has a "game of the week" feel to it.
Valhalla Vikings vs. Aberdeen WC (20 - 13)
Valhalla kept their winning streak alive in a nail-biter over the Lumberjacks last week. They should be able to handle an Aberdeen team on a 3 game losing streak, the latest of which was a shocking loss to Lyon.
London Monarchs vs. Blackpool Mountain Lions (54 - 6)
With 3 of their 4 losses coming against the toughest teams in the conference, the Monarchs should be able to handle the Mountain Lions with ease. Even with a loss, the Mountain Lions can breathe easily, having won the relegation battle against Glastonbury last week.
Fightin' Texas Aggies vs. Nice Dauphins (32 - 16)
Nice will be trying to keep their 3 game winning streak (and playoff hopes) alive, but it won't be easy against a tough Aggies team looking to seal their own playoff berth. Coming off a huge win against Berlin, you have to like the FTA in this one.
E-City Mercenaries vs. Glastonbury Knights (60 - 4)
After losing last week, Glastonbury should be a lock to relegate to AAA. This should be a walk in the park for E-City.
Wembley Warriors vs. Paris - Asnieres Molosses (47 - 0)
With a relatively easy schedule to end the season, the Warriors will start their run to the postseason with an easy game against Paris.
Copenhagen Dragons vs. Stuttgart Nighthawks (18 - 12)
Even though they've had a relatively disappointing season, Copenhagen still has an outside chance at the postseason. An unlikely loss to Stuttgart however, would put an end to any hopes they have.
ZETA:
Rohrheim Stampede vs. Frankfurt HEAT (29-14) (but also 15-14) *GOTW*
The next few weeks will determine who gets home field advantage for the playoffs, as the top 4 teams all play each other. Frankfurt and Rohrheim kick off the action in an amazing matchup of two teams who have only lost a game each by a total of 5 points combined. Rohrheim are the slight favorites, but will need to be on their toes against a strong Frankfurt team.
Reykjavik Aggies vs. Rotterdam Roughnecks (31 - 10)
While Rotterdam's playoff hopes don't hinge on this game, they've been itching to play a rival Aggie team all season. The Aggies will look to keep their league leading 10 game winning streak in tact, and put themselves in pole position for home field in the playoffs.
Valencia Billy Goats vs. Multiple Scorgasms (36 - 4)
If not for a disappointing loss in week 3, Valencia would be the sole undefeated team in the league. After a convincing win last week against Rotterdam, they should look to easily handle a struggling Scorgasms team.
MA Trolls vs. Korb (19 - 16) *Must See*
This should be another great Zeta matchup in Week 12. Other than Korb's loss to Rotterdam, both teams have only lost to the top 4 in the conference, proving they are just a step behind Rohrheim, Reykjavik, Valencia, and Frankfurt (who Korb actually beat). This one could easily go either way.
Oslo Berserkers vs. SGPO (39 - 5)
Oslo will have to win to stay ahead of Paris and Oxford in the playoff race. They should be able to handle an SGPO team who is all but eliminated from the playoffs.
Paris Musketeers vs. DFools AllStars (32 - 6)
Paris can keep their playoff dream alive with a win here against a weak DFools team. With Bari, SGPO, and Glastonbury still on the schedule, Paris has to like their chances of stealing the final playoff spot.
Oxford Eagles vs. Helsinki Horned Frogs (302 - 4)
While this game shouldn't be as lopsided as the predicted score indicates, Oxford should still expect to win big. Oxford can start looking ahead to Oslo, after another cake walk next week.
Bari Barricudas vs. South Texas Tigers (42 - 2)
With an unlikely upset, the Tigers could possibly leapfrog Bari out of the 2nd relegation spot. Bari on the other hand, will try and secure their spot in the Pros with what should be an easy win.
