Ha! No link! Seriously though, after watching a game on the deuce (hey... freedots... deal with it ) where a 14 (or was it 17) point deficit was overcome in the 4th quarter for a win, it got me wondering if any of you old timers out there have a 'Great Comeback' story to tell (or show).

I still remember this one because it was the 1st round of the play-offs early in career (man the dots are slow)
and (i'm sure because of my wayward playcalling) we were down 9 points w/ 6 and a half minutes to go

we had a great drive for a TD to cut the lead to 2, then we got the ball back one last time
and from our own 39 with 30 seconds and no timeouts i make this head-scratcher of a play call:

and somehow it came up aces

That is now a play we use fairly often- but never again with no time-outs in 2 minute drill lol

wow. The whole time I was watching that, I'm thinking:
how is that guy smiling when he's talking about two straight muffed onside kicks
which lost his team the game?!? What a crazy ending. I have to say, I'm glad he
redeemed himself there: that woulda been a tough one to carry around his whole life.
Hope I'm not re-opening any wounds for Plano fans.

This is a WL game from way back, 19 point deficit with less than 2 mins to go. Probably a great comeback on the other side but it was not nearly as much fun to watch for me.
