Warrior General Games

It has come down to the last 5 weeks, and theres nothing for sure in the West, except Panther Hollow. After that, 10 teams are still battling it out for 7 playoff spots. Austin and Sac have the toughest road, playing every game against a playoff contender, we'll see how this pans out.
West:

Ponkos (11-0) @ Isotopes (7-4): Guadalajara gave Panther Hollow a scare last week, holding them TDless in the first 3 quarters, but their depth was just too much to handle. This Isotopes team can run with the best and have proven it with huge a win over Death Valley a team that gave the Ponkos a run for their money, they smell blood and want to be a home playoff team.
LP Prediction:31-7 Panther Hollow.
My Prediction:28-20 Albuquerque.

Packers (8-3) @ Nanananas(7-4):Austin took it to Omaha last week, and Bakersfield pulled off a close one against the Bulldogs, this has the makings of a first round playoff match up. It all depends who gets hot first. The Pack second in the league in Tds and third in yards look to strike hard, Bakersfield wants to slow it down. We're in for a good game here.
LP Prediction:23-15 Austin
My Prediction:21-18 Bakersfield.

Vipers(8-3) @ War Eagles (0-11):Death Valley looks to smash something after losing to Albuquerque, and the Eagles are in the way.
LP Prediction:60-4 Death Valley.
My Prediction:74-6 Death Valley.

Bombers(7-4) @ Bulldogs (6-5): Two teams battling it out for a playoff spot, and both coming off upsets on paper. Birmingham's high powered pass game looks to ring it up on Sactown's high powered D. Another huge game this week for both these teams, a loss for the Dogs and it's close to over, a loss for the Bombers and they could miss playoffs as well.
LP Prediction:20-17 Birmingham.
My Prediction:14-13 Bulldogs. (I cant pick against my team)

Rampage (6-5) @ Lightning (7-4): Like almost every game this week, another playoff battle here. Omaha coming off an upset on paper to the Pack, and Rampage getting a chance to show its dominance over an inferior Humboldt team. Omaha's 3rd worst pass D in the league could be its downfall.
LP Prediction:27-25 Omaha.
My Prediction:28-12 Omaha.

Scorpions (7-4) @ Illegal Aliens (1-10):I dont know if there's scorpions in Corpus Cristi for the Illegal Aliens to contend with, as they cross, but this one wont be pretty.
LP Prediction:32-5 Phoenix.
My Prediction:89-0 Phoenix.

Birds (2-9) @ Twisters (2-9): OKC is better than their record, Philadelphia looks to prove something to the teams sticking around next season, this would be a big upset if they can pull it off.
LP Prediction:23-11 Twisters.
My Prediction:40-17 Twisters.

Gladiators (7-4) @ Shaggy (1-10): Guadalajara gets needed blowout after its loss last week to the Ponkos.
LP Prediction:46-5 Gladiators.
My Prediction: 60-12 Gladiators.

East on next post…

The East looks a little more nailed down than the west. With 5 weeks to go the 8 playoff teams are almost decided, unless the Midgets can make a big run to win out and get some help, we're just playing the rest of the games for seeding.


East:

Steel Riders(11-0) @ Avengers (10-1): This is the game of the season, in either West or East, and we've all been looking forward to it all season. Arlington is a minute and 49 seconds away from being undefeated here as well. This most likely is for the #1 seed in the East.
LP Prediction:12-11 Pittsburgh.
My Prediction:24-21 Pittsburgh in OT.

Bombsquad (9-2) @ Hurricanes (9-2):Another of the most anticipated games of the season, Brooklyn handing Arlington its only loss, and Miami coming off a huge win over the Midgets. These 2 teams put up the 3rd and 5th most points in the league, its going to be a shoot out, whose ever D can come up with a key stop wins this one.
LP Prediction:23-19 Brooklyn.
My Prediction:32-28 Brooklyn.

Hawks (2-9)@ Gangstas(8-3):This ones not even close, Jacktown revenges its loss last week to the Bommbers.
LP Prediction:37-8 Jacktown.
My Prediction:60-10 Jacktown.

Hogeyes(8-2) @ Evolution (7-4): These teams are close in record but Iowa is the superior team, proving so last year, and by staying close with the top teams in the conference. Hogeyes running game needs to get going against this stout Enghave run D.
LP Prediction:17-12 Iowa.
My Prediction:23-10 Iowa.

Midgets (4-7) @ Cheetahs (3-8): Midgets need this game and the rest to even stand a chance at a playoff run, but it wont be a hard road, my guess: Midgets get the 8 seed..
LP Prediction:27-13 Midgets.
My Prediction:30-1 Midgets.

Storm (6-5) @ Carnage(0-11): Chicago coming off a big win over the Bears, repeats the process here easily.
LP Prediction:52-3 Chicago.
My Prediction:50-0 Chicago.

Dreams (4-7) @ Mountaineers (3-8): Dreams hope to do the same as the Midgets, and only the Midgets stand in the way on paper.
LP Prediction: 21-6 Cybermagination.
My Prediction:27-13 Cybermagination.

Bears (1-10) @ Thunderhawks (3-8): Boston having tasted the win , is hungry for another here, but the Thunderhawks are too after a tough loss to the Mountaineers.
LP Prediction:23-6 Indianapolis.
My Prediction:14-7 Boston.
