Warrior General Games

Seems like our once bubbling forum has lost some gusto with the moving on of Wala Wala, Manhattan and now Michigan. I know I don't post much, but I did follow along very closely. We still got our weekly prediction thread, but no power rankings one and overall it seems we got less action in here. Anyone else feel that way?

yeah, definitely been a big drop off in activity.

Im part of 2 other formerly very active league forums, and it just seems the nature of the beast. Wala Wala and Manhattan are both now part of one of them, and the activity there hasnt gotten much better so i wouldnt place it all on them. It's summer time so a lot of people are off vacationing, or just getting out to see the sun. Just be glad you have more than just 20 "Good Game Shriners" etc posts!

Come the end of summer im sure quite a few boards will pick back up.

well the fact that this "game" requires very little time investment and the only real fun(other than forum trolling) is looking at the post game stats. If anyone wants to jump and start flaming people randomly or anything that would be sweet cause internet flaming wars are the best.

Hey, it can be a pretty significant time investment for some of us. I know I certainly keep myself busy - but then I DC/GM for one team, and advise half a dozen others.

I tend to suck with predictions and power rankings and such, but I love these forums, for the most part.

It'll pick up again. We're all outside right now. I've already been camping for a week and then there's fishing, bbqing, and since it's the fourth, most of the day was spent blowing up the back yard. Next week is family reunion, and then (WOOOOO!) a trip to Saints training camp. I'll get back to you when I get back to my regularly scheduled life.

Are the Aints playing THE Dallas Cowboys in pre-season again this year? I enjoyed the game in Shreveport last year. It's only an hour and a half away from me.

No cowgirls in preseason this time. Arizona, Cinci, Houston, and Miami.
