I edited my post above because I agree there's a lot of fun to be had in glb in lower levels and off leagues. Can be just as much or more fun and didn't mean to sound snob about it.
My personal build methods have been dictated by how to increase my odds of getting my dots hired to WL teams. When elite coaches with winning track records say they want certain build for their scheme, I build toward that.
Stamina is most important for speed receivers and defensive backs. Other positions want ALG benefits in other attributes first so, stamina usually gets trained near end build. So, a lot the the best dots in WL don't see the field nearly as much while growing up.
But in many ways it makes more sense and is better value for your flex/dollar....kill it every season from rookie til plateau then recycle... versus ...boredom of slow build from rookie to plateau, then enjoy watching only at highest leagues.
