I was unable to be online for most of this past season and was unable to do anything with my team and players. They are avg level 26, not great but decent players.

Should i keep going or just make new players and start over? I fear my players won't be able to keep up with the same level players that have been maintained.

start over if you want to be competitive in a competitive league.

There's 32 days in the regular season when you're earning Game XP. By the end of the second season, you should be L32. Then you have to consider training changes that should have been done to maximise the build.

Missing time is a build killer in the low levels.
