Any tips on the setting would be greatly appreciated. I've placed my strongest CB's. Should I go 100% zone coverage?

I've experimented a lot over the years. Recent success has been with the tagged defensive preset. If you get the tags and your depth chart right, you can shut it down pretty well. We beat some very solid rushing QBs last season using this strategy, and that was with a rag tag defensive group.

You actually have to build for it right from the start. It's not easy but when it works is Beautiful. I
have one of those "Rushing QB" teams. We just hit 79 this season and are having a pretty good
season. Don't build to stop them...... Build to be One of them !!

I suggest you talk with my guys ie, OC, DC and ST about it. They don't mind helping out
Tell 'em I sent ya.

Lmao; you could say we're "one of those teams" ~ Illuminaughty included.

Best way I fond is having the "outside run" or "deep pass" settings beefed up; but, I am by no means an expert in casual.

Not do this. It doesn't resemble football and because of the limitations of the settings it is making a mockery of the game.

With All due respect to Hottie, and others that build all rushing teams with all rushing QB's, I truly would not even enjoy winning if that is how I built my teams. It in no way shape or form resembles football at any top level, and I am on this site to play a football game. I would be much more proud of the accomplishment if I won with a team with traditional football style of play, than I would to win with a formula that I knew going in had a built in advantage. Winning with a traditional style team is much more difficult to do and a much greater accomplishment.

I personally wouldn't do it, but at least it doesn't take advantage of limitations of the game, so not a big deal to me. Again, not really complaining about rushing QB's. The game is what it is, and for those that do it, if they enjoy it, more power to them. Not breaking any rules or anything. I just personally would not enjoy winning in that manner. Ideally we would have had more tools to defend it in Casual, but we don't. Spying is simply not enough. They can be slowed down, but one or two broken tackles, and the ridiculously overpowered effects of morale loss, specifically for rushing QB's (demoralize is a joke - defense loses morale even on a 1 yard gain to the outside - I understand on big gains, but to lose morale on ANY rush to the outside is ridiculous) is crippling by end of game.

This could be the most concise summary possible of the biggest reason this game is dying a slow death.

I for one am really not happy with the setup that OLBs do not get a lot of PT....have done several different changes and still the result is the same

I have been trying that but I am new to being owner/coordinator. I made dots only until several seasons ago. Regardless, it is extremely difficult and I am at a loss as to how to make it work.

I agree as OC of an all run team in casual actually 3 my time is now limited and this saves alot as far as scouting.
Now IF the game was redone and more realistic then yes I would run a different offense for sure. But that's not going to happen so we do what we do. A good game plan will kill any running offfense. I have learned this through the past few seasons with an all run offense.
