So in the replay when I press >> it "inches" along in the game, does each of these presses represent a period of "time" within the sim, and thus each press would be equivalent?

I'm interested in comparing the amount of time before the ball is thrown on typical "short" passing plays and "long" passing plays... I am just curious that if in the GLB world is really possible to compare these two "exactly" and would really like to see this comparison.

You can look at the coding behind the replays and it will give you a lot of the math that goes into each replay, including interesting tidbits like how much (exactly) each dot moved over a period of time, etc.

This reminds me: is there working version of "replay rewrite" around, somewhere?

It will move it one tick. Bort said each tick is a tenth of a second.
