all attributes have a baseline number determined by position and archetype, then a few attributes can be modified by height and weight

Sounds a bit pre season20 thinking if player was created and did not set those pts right away.But with archtype you place them or they get even distribute at creation.

You can do that with VAs, extra SAs, and with equipment. Up to 15 VA points and all your basic equipment can be reallocated in the offseason. There's a cost for switching extra SAs and Advanced Equipment and Custom Equipment. You can also buy a second set of basic equipment and thereby switch some of your attribute points as often as you like just by taking off one set and putting on the other, but there's a cost for the second set. You could also have more than 4 pieces of Advanced Equipment and switch those at will but it would be prohibitively expensive so I've never seen it done.
