Allow Players To Always Retire Their Dots on Their Teams

Make it an exception to not being able to release dots after the roster lock.

Why?

Because owners are supposed to pay for their teams by Day 40.

Recycled flex is a common way to do that.

But the dots aren't released till Day 41.

Letting us release our own dots on our own teams doesn't hurt anyone.

So why not let us do it?

That way a team that is out of contention can free up flex needed to keep it in play.

Yes the mods will let you extend that extra day if you send in a ticket. But thats an awkward process that this idea would fix.

-1 Not Gonna Happen.

Yeah I know. But still.

they would have to rework how team salaries are paid as well, too much work for them IMO. but yeah, out of the playoffs no reason not to be able to retire early, teams in the playoffs cant sign players anyway so no harm done there

I'm hoping he's completely caught up modding the Bugs forum and can jump right on this.

Its prolly already known by the team if its the end.If owner is done then nobody is worried if there's a salary or it bankrupt by then.

Maybe not hi priority but the 1 and outs would be ready to retire at end or conclusion of playoffs.
