I am assuming they do not considering (in my league) my DE is 1st in hurries, 2nd in sacks and 3rd in TFL's, and 2nd for Def. MVP to the guy who is 1st in sacks (5 more than me-24-29) and 2nd in TFL's (1 more than me) and IS NOT in the top 10 in Hurries so he has at least 28 less than my 50. Seems if Hurries counted at all the fact I am so close in the other 2 categories the fact that I am so far ahead in Hurries should give me the MVP easily, to have a stat be so meaningless seems a waste. And before you ask, no, he isn't in the Top 10 in any of the other Defensive categories.

Also include (meaning you should check out these between the two dots) total tackles and blowout adjusted stats. Perhaps even passes defended as well since DMVP includes all defensive stats so that DB's and LB's can win as well. (I would think so anyways.)
I think they do count toward MVP... when adjusting for blow-out stats the numbers are:
6.36 more sacks, 3.57 more PDs (for what it's worth), 23.92 more tackles, 2.14 more TFL
vs
27.76 more hurries
Keep in mind that the system uses blow out stats to try and curb stat padding during blow out games, and also attempts to look at ALL stats. So while your dot may be the better rusher, the extra tackles can easily account for the reduced hurries. It also looks at production vs other team members, so that might play some into it as well.
Looking at the stats I see no problem with the particular example you've given me... granted there are plenty of other examples of the MVP formula being screwed up (look at WL ST MVP... a G is leading them

Suggestions about AI setting DC and how it selects players, Like QB kicking, Guard punting and the like. Seems the arch introduced since would of fixed that? but hasn't.
