Hmm?

Kinda hard to prove. It doesn't flash like 'spin' or others on replays and it's so ambiguous (effecting several different aspects) that you can't stat track it. I'm not quite as skeptical as JD about it... but I'm not a fan of it either choosing it only if I've no better options... which I usually do.

don't know, but not against putting like 2-4 points in it on a KR/PR and accepting whatever happens

I've been on teams that had 15 in Clutch on every offensive and defensive starter. There was no noticeable effect.

So then what you are saying then JD is that clutch is broken.

I had one player with 15 clutch who won 7 MVP trophies - 1 in WL, 3 more in Pro, and 3 more in Elite. Jus' sayin'.

Key word is noticeable. When you have a VA that is supposed to effect as many things as Clutch is supposed to then there's really no way to SEE it working. I do think it does what it says it does... how often and how much effect is the debate. Which is why I agree with JD about it not being worth selecting as a 'primary' VA but, if you've filled all your majors up, and have anything left, then maybe.

I think your explanation in plain English makes good sense. But I think JD's post is short-hand for "no titles while featuring it", which would make your suggestion about (paraphrasing) "only if you are more or less done and you have nothing left" applicable.
