In GLB it seems like the higher level team wins 99% of the time. Just look at Zeta this week - the top 8 teams all won, the bottom 8 all lost. In real life even crappy teams pull a big upset every now and then.

Being on a pretty good team, I like having the feeling of confidence that we are pretty much always going to win when playing teams with lower level players. Still, the fact that upsets happen very rarely kind of takes some of the excitement out of the game.

Anyone else feel this way?

Jiddy Fructose's team is not a higher level than Moscow...nor Transylvania...nor Chernobyl..nor Rockford...nor Dubai...nor Rome...

I think you see a trend here.

Given that Helsinki is 10-1, I have a hard time calling any of those wins a big upset. I'm talking about a 5-5 team beating a 8-2 team... something like that.

Also which team was saying that builds>>levels?

Builds>>tactics>levels

Levels, tactics, and builds aside - the 'better' team should lose every now and then - that is the meaning of an upset. Happens in real football, and I think GLB might be a bit more exciting if it happened here as well.

You stated in the first post, that "the higher level team wins 99% of the time".

It seems that some teams are game planning better, and have made fewer moves... so that their chemistry is better. Last week we were defeated by the Grypon Army...

I think the number of upsets will increase as the level of great teams increases... (in pro). Right now, we still have several teams that don't belong here.

That is all.

Because you were upset five times this year?

Not at all. But in three of those, going in we should have been favored based on our performance last season, and our talent level.

How you could have not understood what I meant really fucking baffles me.

COME PLAY-OFF TIME THERE WILL BE UPSETS, BUT THE GOOD TEAMS ARE HARD TO BEAT WHEN PLAYING A LOWER LEVEL TEAM.

I love that phrase, "owner of Deebo" He is not Eddie Winslow, he is owner of Deebo.
