so im new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself, and see if there is anything i should know before i get too involved.

there is a lot to figure out, but once you do it all becomes quite simple and addicting

Death, if you have any particular questions feel free to shoot me a PM. Also there's a private forum link in my sig on player building, but I'd actually encourage you to play for a month or two and build how you want, before you get into the math-nerd stuff as that can ruin the initial fun a bit.

You will need to pay money to make competitive players. This game is pay to play, not pay to win (since everyone who's paying pays the same amount for the same advantages per player).

If on the other hand you want to get into coordinating, it is free, in high demand, and is actually the most time and strategy intensive parts of this game, so if you don't want to pay money and are still interested in dotball that might be a worthwhile path to take.

Also out of pure curiosity, how did you find this site?

randomly actually lol i was looking for a football simulator to use to try and get stats for rookie that i will use in madden 08 pc version and i stumbled upon a bunch of sites like this and this one just looked interesting enough to check out. still havent found a simulator for what i actually wanted but im good with it

oh i wanted to comment on the first post you made and kind of got off track. but i did see something about coordinating i do find that fun. would love to give it a shot as well just not sure how or where to go about that

Don't Rush into it

I suggest just continuing to mess with your free player for now. Day 40 coming soon enough, at which time you should go ahead and retire that dot . Best players are built between days 40 and 48.

Read around the FAQ, good links in the sticky thread on top for starters, and people like wise4ivan have open private forums with an abundance of useful info.

Then look for a team willing to allow you to maybe "assist" at coordinating for a season to get some hands on experience and then move on to being a head coordinator.

ah i mean i understand the make the best player thing but i just want to have some fun so even if my player sucks ill still have fun with it.

So come day 40 to 42 of this season, I suggest you retire the one you have now and start fresh . Have more fun with a better dot that is equal to all other dots his age as far as training and SP's go

1 more thing, avoid the Duece, it sucks

Id get another free player if i retire him and start fresh after that day ?
