In honor of all the teams making their playoff run..
"Burn your bridges behind you & keep your backs to the wall"

Murder City Devils(4) vs. Columbus Buckeyes(1)
Megatropolis Tigers vs. New Jersey Vikings
Washington Wildcats vs. Maryland Iron Maidens
Carson City Cubes vs. Hartford Hurricanes
Pontiac War Kittens(3) vs. Detroit Soldiers(7)
Seattle Reign vs. Lexington Mob
Milwaukee Fire(6) vs. Michigan Panthers(2)
New York Huskies vs. Canton Hall Of Famers(5)

The second half of the season continues to pile on more tension with even more ranked teams going head to head & all who can make a playoff move being primed to do so.

Murder City has a prime chance to completely shake up the Final Four as well as strongly position themselves near the top. However, Columbus has proven to be a rather difficult foe to pin down. But with Murder City catching a bit of fire as of late, they may be catching them at the best time. However, after taking down the #1 kittens last week, the infant ingestors have nothing but confidence.

The next game becomes less & less relevant by the minute. Following last weeks decimation at the hands of C3, games vs the Vikes hardly carry any weight anymore. However i'm sure the Tigers would like to leave their mark on New Jersey's record of failure so epic you could refer to every game more as an attempted intervention than a contest. As a team with more experience losing games than almost every other team has playing them at all, a win would be a much needed first step at redemption.

Newly ranked Maryland looks to prove they belong with the big boys at the expense of Washington. But after fighting tooth & nail with Lexington is it possible the Cats can reclaim the defensive bite that scored them so many close wins last season? One thing's certain, after openly campaigning for prestige all season, it's unlikely the Maidens slide back into obscurity without a fight.

C3 looks to start their Season 4 campaign early against a slumping Hartford. Given all that's seemingly going on behind the scenes, one could make the argument that the "real" Hartford hasn't played since last season's playoffs. And after last weeks roster debacle, it's hard to say if Hartford has thrown in the towel or not, but one thing is certain, a lost against Carson City will probably break what remains of Hartford's pride & put them down the path to painful rebuilding.

No rest for the Cardiac Cats as a close loss to the Baby Munchers is rewarded with a trip to Detroit. And after last weeks loss putting them in the lower tier of the playoff seating, the Soldiers are in no mood for hospitality.

The leagues most high flying interception machines face off in a battle that could easily be as big a game for the DB's as it could for a Receivers. If Seattle wants any hope at passing Maryland, then they've got no choice but to go through Lexington. But Lexington's got just as much to gain in being on top in the 3 way happening at the 8 spot right now. The next 2 games will be extremely important to these three with so many head to head matching between them.

The ever adaptable Fire face off against the untalented Panthers. The Fire, next to Columbus might be the most versatile team in the conference as far as being able to attack a team in different ways in the same game. Michigan, on the other hand, is a bunch of girls a few extremely happy guys who share the locker room with them. Michigan & Milwaukee have always played close, so look for both teams too bring their A games.

After throwing in the towel last week, the Huskies look to be stat fodder for the resurgent HoF'ers. Look for this game to end after Canton's first or second possession.

Oh holy & powerful bort, hallowed be they PHP, please have mercy on those of us who hath sinned against our preseason ranking, and forsaken thine merciful right to ascension. Please bless our special abilities, and grant them the power to activate on every down, and smite all the heretics who doth offend your name with unreasonable blitz packages, shady trades & rotations that prevent the backup dots from experiencing thy mericiful embrace on the field of play.

To Hell with the rest of you!

smoked? you won, yes, & well done with the 21 points.. but by 7. Don't twist it to sound like you dominated throughout, that game was contested up until our last possession. Or was that just a pun on your team name? Hard to tell what your intent was there.. and i put it in print that your offense is versatile, so it's no surprise that you put up 21 points in 1 qtr, just like it's no surprise we put up 14 in the first.

As expected the offensive numbers were wild on both sides.
