vision - I usually 60-cap but some go even lower

speed - I usually 73-cap a LT (pass arch) and C, 77-cap the rest

Vision I like to 60 cap where possible and I just have a thing about hitting 80 speed.....although I have taken a couple of pulling guards to 90.

Really depends on position as those above have posted, although not by much.
I really prefer agility a LOT on centers... speed not so much. 65-75 is good enough but agility below 90 is not.
Guards pull more than tackles so 75-80+speed is good there.
Tackles can get by with 73 speed. More is ok.
Vision for all positions should be 60 cap at the very least.

I pretty much agree with the speeds posted above. For Vision, it depends on how well you want your OL to pass block and pick up blitzes. The higher Vision will be a better pass blocker. I like both Tackles to be 70ish.

edit: Vision also helps with getting off with the snap.

I think bhall and jd did some tests with vision that showed 70 was overkill

Thanks for the nice prop Venge...well appreciated seeing it comes from You....you only have nice things to say about every 1/2 doz. seasons or so ...obviously not nearly there as yet

I agree and always have with most comments.....was just trying to fine tune as have come across some outstanding APV dots in OL and most of them have insane vision ...way higher than 60's that I have always built to and was just throwing the question out there for info update.

I've got a whole squad of offensive linemen that hit 280 on d.40
I put 70+ vision and confidence on them with 80 speed and 90 agility.
I totally sacrificed Strength to do it but they have pummel, aura and 25%+ hold block.
Everyone says its nutz and it probably is but we'll see.

(too bad we don't have insta-dots. I could have finished this little test and rerolled these guys 2 or 3 times by now.)

This. (and you're not nutz, it's a proven method to combat Confidence skimping by DL - attack the morale) As stated above, it really depends on what you're O-Line objective is.

Vision to 61 min. - 68 max (OTs). On a specialized OC with LIne General, 73 max.

I like speed... For LOT, 87.6 cap. (you have to keep up with RDEs that can have up to 150+ speed - it's all about the matchup)
OGs and ROT - anywhere from 61 - 81+ again, depending on whether you're stacking pulling guard, or outside blocker, or first step on interior. OCs only 61ish..

Wasn't in OP, but no OL should have less than 90+ Agility.

EDIT: also wasn't in OP, yet Confidence was thought to not matter for many, many years in this game... I know many a WL pancake machines at ROT and BTE that have 72+ Confidence stacked with correct buffs... and when you attack morale and have high morale... Ever watch a game when all you see along the defensive front seven is frowny faces...?

If you're seeing high vision O-linemen then it's one of two things; #1, those are being built SPECIFICALLY for playing against blitzes or, #2, those are being built poorly by some that still think high vision has value. It does, but only as blitz read and reaction. Otherwise, you're spending SP's in a skill that have more value elsewhere.

Depends on the position. I like a lot of vision on RGs because of the CB blitz, but on the rest the less you have the better.
