Every season, most agree that Alpha is strong than Zeta - and yet Zeta usually wins the first week... This is a deep conference featuring 11 teams with extensive WL experience and some interesting new entries.

Indy, Clash, Oakland and MG up on top with whoever cares most getting the top seed - I'll say Indy this season. Clash may struggle a bit early with chem issues and whomever takes over ghuffman's D should just let it ride. Fully expect MG to matchup with their BFF, Oakland, in playoffs - whoever wins that game wins it all...

King's Men, Burnside, Sanchez & Graz all have opportunity to crack top four if any falter - King's and Sanchez had lots of roster turnover and start in chem hole, early schedule will sort them out by week 6

Razorback, Bambey and Moari would be ranked higher, yet they also are battling chem and early schedule woes - could be playoff teams or bust.

Dinos, Crackers, Huntsville, Sea Wasps and Crimea are intriguing - one of these teams (maybe two) will surprise. All have 100% chem (or close) and come in with high expectations - it'll come down to execution. I'll go with "bringing sexy back" http://tinyurl.com/nwcd8k2

Normally you would see 2 or 3 teams that will get beat on like a red headed step child, yet I just don't see anyone in Zeta that is an "easy win" - let the games begin!

Halftime update...

Graz at 8 - 0 with next two games against Clash and Indy - can either duplicate what Dino's D did in tourney game to shut down that brutal rush attack...?

Indy, Oakland and Clash all looking as predicted - winning the games they should and taking care of business - one of them bests Graz - no one escapes unscathed.

The Canadian Contingent (Dino's, Burnside & MG), are bunched at 5- 3 and all have looked a bit like jekyll and hyde - all having the ability to make a run, but losing games they shouldn't can bring the next group into playoff picture. Can and will step up in regular season....

The logjam at 4 - 4 and 3 - 5 is intriguing as at least one to three teams can emerge... I'm going with Bambey as they have three quality wins and favorable schedule. Who else will pull some upsets and move upwards...?

....and at the three quarter pole....

Top 5 will be in playoffs and all have legitimate shot at title. Indy and Graz looking VERY stout.

6. Sanchez: play Razors, Clash, Indy and Crimea. Need to pull one upset, but should still make playoffs.

7. Dinos: play Portland, Burnside, Sea Wasps and Razors. Nice WL debut - they'll make the dance.

8. Burnside: play MG, Dinos, Portland and Sea Wasps. Dinos game is key to seeding, the Bandits always seem to wake up in this part of the season (same with Miami in Alpha).

Of the three teams at 5 - 7 , The Razorbacks have the best chance at controlling their own fate - if they win out, they're in. Moari has to still play Clash, Indy and Graz while Lethal has Razors, Clash and Indy to face. The window is closing, yet still open...

Ace is probably sucking Ivanhoe's dick right now in hopes of Crimea beating Sanchez... The Sea Dragons have had a rough go of it, yet have played everyone tough (excepting Indy and Graz) and have a legitimate shot.

Seems like, for the past several seasons, Sanchez always comes down to last game - and they deliver... Boozer's got the voodoo doll and pins ready.

Fitting that we meet yet once again... for the final time... we've been banging heads since inception - throwing plastic bottles at each other from our cribs, fighting in the playground at school, stealing each other girl friends, and finally all out warfare at the highest level.
