Generally, how much vision is required for pHBs vs eHBs/scat HBs? Does it make an appreciable difference with getting fakes to fire?

I think you can safely go with a LITTLE less vision for PHB's vs E/scat HB's since most PHB do their work between the tackles and use brute strength more than elusiveness. PHB's make holes, not 'look for them'. I'd still want 1st cap minimum (IMO). As for making fakes fire, I believe Agility has a lot more to do with 'fakes firing' than Vision does (for HB's, anyways).
Frog sense-101-if you need to hit a hole you need vision. Mo the better. Power does not mean plow. Contrary to popular belief its the opposite. A power HB needs to SEE the hole first. As with any HB, the HOLE needs to appear. Brute force won't make a hole-just dig in it
There is a noticeable difference between a pHB with next to nothing in vision vs one with first cap vision...And yes, the power slider on both dots was set the same
iirc....The extra vision seemed to give the dot more "side2side" movement and to the power run, but it bounced around more than I like. When I get bored tomorrow at work I may look up replays to post, should have been s44 Boulder Blitz in WL

Vision doesn't matter at all unless you want short yardage monster. Otherwise don't waste any points in it.

I've seen this posted over and over and have to disagree. If you watch the replays closely, backs with low vision often do not hit the correct hole and do not gain as many yards as they could. I'm not saying to go crazy with it. Yes, power backs can get away with 30 Vision and still be good, but I think it is a good value performance wise to get Vision on a power back to 50ish.
Elusives need more Vision as it does help Jukes and Fakes to fire and also helps in catching the ball. How much? I'd say 60 minumum, but not more than 70 as that would start impacting your other skills.
Vision important for a scat back to catch the ball down the field.

Can anyone post multiple replays of powerbacks with 50+ vision playing good teams?

VA's are also the same, I use the same VA's on every pHB I make unless OC suggests otherwise..
That being said, I looked back and the builds were quite a bit different anyway. Still, the dot with 10 less agility and 17 extra in vision seems to jump around more (which was also less productive).
imo
