i was doing some analysis on fair catches and it would be nice if we didnt have to actually watch the replay to see who forced the fair catch. sometimes, its not obvious.

so
Punt by James Swanson, 36 yd, fielded by Lamar Miller ~ (fair catch)
would be
Punt by James Swanson, 36 yd, fielded by Lamar Miller ~ (fair catch - Rebel cLB1)

it would be nice if forced fair catches were tracked in stats.

oh wait, this is about ST...nevermind

it would be funny to see a dot get knocked back 5 yards or so with an aggressive STer laying down a monster hit.

i actually saw more plays than expected where the coverage guy seemed to make contact before the ball got there. that would have made for a nice counter to the monster hits. punt catch interference.

it may be a factor, but regardless it is still forced by a player or players on the kicking team.
