Congrats to everyone that has made it this far!

While I was a modest 2/4 on my picks last week, I do take solace in the fact that I predicted Texas/Indy to be a nail-biter and it ended up going to overtime. Well done by Texas taking advantage of the coin toss with a HUGE play, 81 yard TD the 1st play of OT.

Also while I predicted the Mice to beat out HHWC, it was predicated on them running the rock and protecting the defense. Instead they slung the rock 57 times, throwing 5 picks. That includes two picks that immediately put HHWC in FG range, and one interception when South Otto had 1st and goal from HHWC's 14 yard line. That is 9+ points right there in a 10 point loss. Congrats to HHWC.

In Alpha, Odessa went oddly run heavy, and squeaked out a 7 point victory over Morning Glory, who managed 2 INTs on 5 incompletions. One of those picks led to an Odessa TD which was the game. Also props to the Mojo who ran 7:10 off the clock on their final drive to seal the victory, which I'm sure was gut wrenching for MG fans to watch. Props to MG's DC (whoever it is) for stepping up and making a game out of this!

Miami shook what their mother gave them, leaning on their strong passing attack to let the rock fly and lead them to a playoffs win! The Redhawks took the lead mid-way through the 2nd quarter and never looked back. Burnside scored a TD late in the game to make this look closer on the scoreboard than it actually was.

Coming up is Conference Championship week. Congratulations to all 4 teams who made it this far. Win this week and you'll have at least *some* bling to show your dotball grand-children.

Texas Militia VS Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=563&team2=1509

Are the Militia, a team in their final season before resetting, a team of destiny? Or is HHWC going for their GLB record 8th WL title, gonna to get one more on the mantle?

This Militia group, as crazy as it seems, is now a perfect 8-0 in WL conference playoffs. If they do lose to HHWC and HHWC goes on to win the WL championship, not only would they have they lost to the 3 WL champions on their 3 playoff runs, but the only 3 teams to have playoffs victories over them will have won the last 7 WL championships.

Honestly, after taking out Indy, I am all-in on the Militia as a team of destiny. There is no one left that can stop their offense, and AC on the other side of the ball is on top of his game, terrorizing QBs and shutting down the run. Militia victory here, as Texas is not going to give the game away like South Otto did with picks. HHWC will not be able to move the ball effectively on Texas's D, and if the Militia can move the ball on the #1 run D, they can move it on #3. HHWC's run D is still sick, but Texas just needs 20+ for a comfortable victory here, which I am confident that will have no problem doing.

=============ALPHA===========

Odessa Mojo VS Miami Red Hawks
http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=6577&team2=509

Mojo's quest for a 3-peat is still alive. If they are able to pull off two more victories, they will be the first team since season 17-19 (HHWC) to pull off 3 WL titles in a row, an extremely impressive feat.

Miami should hold their head high after rattling off two WL victories as a #8 seed, and has looked like a different team in the playoffs. Damn teams resetting under different team IDs, but I do believe the Tomcic and his Redhawks have a previous WL Conference title awhile back, so they are going for their 2nd, which would be damn nice.

Also, to add some Jerry Springer storylines, A source close to the situation has told me there is some definite bad blood here between Tomcic and DS (Dotball Syndicate, the most successful large network in GLB for anyone living under a rock). Previously Tomcic sold off his teams and hard committed to DS as an agent and coordinator, only to double back on his word, break off any time commitments with DS, and go back to owning two teams (which are both in the WL playoffs this season so congrats to that). Both sides will be looking hard for a victory to teach some lessons.

Back to dotball.... Miami needs to keep doing what their doing, heaving the ol' dotskin downfield and hoping for the best. This is dangerous into a pick-crazy Mojo secondary, but if they can try to be as safe as possible with scouting, while still having balls of steel, the opportunity to put up big points exists of the Redhawks and avoid the turnover bug.

The Mojo showed a successful run-heavy offense in round two, and I'm sure they will go that way again in the face of a very strong Redhawk pass defense.

I predict a Odessa Mojo victory here, as they are going to put up some points and I'm not sure Miami can hang with them. If the Redhawks are able to avoid turnovers while sticking to a pass heavy gameplan, they do have a legit shot however. Probably gonna be a pickfest though, fucking Bort destroyed GLB passing #wiserants.

===============

GL to all 4 remaining teams. If you do not agree with my predictions please post your own with or without thoughts.

Bad blood? No. Nemesis? Absolutely.
Madmustaff and myself manage Official Footballguys with the goal to win in WL , the term' bad blood' rather describes my relationship to that Pittsburgh team and the owner that can only ball in Minors and Pro leagues. And that person is not u Wise

I will not give up my sources, but please know that your the speech you just read from your PR person isn't fooling anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if more details showed up on TMZ tonight.

Also, the Hedgehogs could totally make it in if we wanted to!
