He's currently level 6, and I have to say, he was mediocre up until I got my 9th point in head fake.

Since then:

20 carries 193.5 yards 9.675 YPC 1 TD

56.5 yard TD pitch

Has his competition stayed fairly static?

for the most part, yes. It's in the D-leagues though, so it can vary sometimes. He fakes out a lot of players that are at or above his level in those replays though.

Interesting...

For example, on the top play he freezes:

Level 6 CB
Level 7 FS
Level 7 LB
Level 9 CB
Level 8 LB

(and runs over a level 1 SS CPU, as expected)

Second carry is less impressive as he only faked out:

level 1 SS
level 6 CB
level 6 CB
level 1 LB (CPU)

Another play where he fakes out at least a level 9 LB on the inside (and maybe a level 8 as well, not sure if the TE pancaked him or he froze due to head fake)

BTW, if anyone wants him on their team, I'd gladly put him on a human team. I just haven't had any takers.

Well, I'm way back on the list (425ish), but I'd love to follow your progress in this. It seems like it might fit the O philosophy I'm wanting to run.

I'll be more interested in what he does against some human competition once he reaches higher levels. I'm curious how effective head fake is against better-built players. Good thread though. :thumbsup:

I concur, great thread. Can't wait to see how he does.

Most D league players ignore vision and agility for defense. Head fake is going to be significantly less effective against teams with 40+ vision/agility & 5+ super vision players.

If anyone would let me onto a human team, I'd be able to see. Unfortunately, no one has shown any interest. So in the D-leagues he remains.

Yards per carry have gone way up. I'd be interested to see this build's progress at level 15 or so when his agility is 60+.
