OK,so WGG is not making any more sim changes on GLBClassic!, I get that.
I suggest allowing dots to continue leveling to 84, with lvl80 EQ upgrades. It will bring some different looks at the highest level(WL) and maybe give some incentive for agents to build some new dots as well as not be so quick to retire lvl79's
It may also help that one season a team/player hits lvl72 when they stop getting XP and face a lot of lvl79 team/players for a season not be so uninteresting (usually)
Just allow those dots to continue getting XP to lvl76(or whatever level it is they would actually get to if XP gains stayed the same as right before hitting boost cap), and add allowable boost it would take to hitlvl84 after a dot is built to the current level cap. Keep everything else the same once a dot hits age 281 (like stopping training) and do not extend the extended plateau period. Still allow 6 boost to hit lvl79, but if it takes only 3 to hit lvl79 allow agents to keep boosting to lvl81. The following season allow 3 more boost to lvl84 or 6 boost if needed like now. Stop ALG's at lv79
By still stopping training there would be no extra Bonus Tokens to upgrade the AEQ, as well as stopping ALG's, the only thing really gained (for older dots) is the extra 30SP's. But for younger dots it might begin entire new build practices and discussion among agents on how to reach lvl84 and have enough BT to buy and fully upgrade 3 or 4 AEQ... or maybe even only go with 2AEQ for some positions because of the increase SP at builds end. I dunno, but could possibly maybe start a bit of a resurgence in new dots being built.
It would require no major coding to the sim, just a little adjusting to the XP shut down time and then giving a few more boost. Might some how affect non-boosters or those that missed some boost, but I have not givin that part much thought .
It also would be more flex being spent, and just might spark a bit of interest at GLB1 as I would imagine it would effect the top level game. Then make an announcement on MightyBrawlers about it, so any new players that game may have brought in might actually check out GLB1 and build some dots here (they should still get a free one I would imagine?)
