Warrior General Games

Allow GMs to pay for a teams ownership renewal.

Why?

1) Improves continuity of teams, this aids

--- A) Player Retention. Less people let down by folding teams and giving up.

-- B) League and Team stability. Same old names, traditions, rivalries can last longer.

2) Income. Spending money to keep your favorite teams name in the game via GM contribution is another tempting source to spend flex.

Why not do this?

GMs can already pay for a team's ownership renewal, they get to take over ownership of the team if the owner doesn't want to (or can't) renew ownership.

Yes.

BUT that either requires support interaction or the team being CPU and all of the players getting team sold messages.

Which I have seen translate into an attempt to keep the team together going right off the rails as players not in the loop bail and vanish.

Better to just incorporate it into the mechanics of the game and allow there to be no transition to worry about.
