It depends on how many plays need to be processed in your time slot. If you have a lot of teams that play at the same time as yours beating up on CPU teams, it can potentially delay your games.
Also server issues can cause it to slow down but generally most games should clear out within an hour after the finish time. Contact support if it's more than say an hour or two over.

To narrow it down a bit more, when I was a team owner, I generally found that an individual game usually took 20-30 minutes to process, from the moment my team's depth chart locked (signalling the sim had started) to the moment the final score page appeared (after 5 minutes of feverishly pressing F5 every 3 seconds to see if the score was available yet). Again, though, it could take longer for games that went to overtime or featured lots of passing (and thus lots of clock stoppages for incomplete passes), and it could take WAY longer for games against CPU or under-leveled teams that ended up having more than the usual number of plays.
