I first played this game back in 2009 but stopped playing.

My original player is level 62 and 1500 days old. Looks like the attributes get worse with age?YY'all recommend I retire the player?

Yes. Retire him. Any dot past 480 years old rusts and declines.

You could try to get him on a D league team for the rest of this season and then retire him in the off season. The offseason is still the only time you can really make dots.

but you get 8 wonderful days of off-season to build them and equal training points , no longer HAVE to build only on day 40 for best end build dot. Day 40 to 48 is all the same now

I pm'd a few owners trying to get into a minor league but have no response. One of you can sign me for $10/game! I would take any offer. There are not many leagues where there is no cap on age though.

There are 700+ XP points I can convert to counteract reduction of attributes from age. I'd like to see my veteran play a few games to see if I can get some interest in logging in regularly again.

Who is catch?

Unless they fixed it (which i doubt) you can't be signed to a team once you get over 1000 days old. You have to have an admin place you on a team.

another stupid noob question:

I had so many flex points after retiring two old vets that I decided to buy a casual league team and put one of my new players on the roster as a starter. But when I go to the "depth chart" tab and make changes, the changes are not saving when I hit the "update" button. It won't let me take out the current CPU starter and put my guy in.

At first I thought it was because I bought the team right before a game and the roster was locked... but the game would not let me save roster changes after the game either.

What am I doing wrong? There are some "preset" rosters you can save also but when I tried to save, it did not work either.

Try hitting "auto-reorder" at the bottom of the page. Then put your players on the depth chart.

I pressed "Auto Recorder"
waited for the refresh
made the changes to the roster
hit update
it sends me back to my account page
I click on the team page
click on the depth chart tab
the changes aren't saved

if I make changes in the depth chart tab then
swap to a new tab without hitting the update button
that doesn't work either
