With the shortage of available players why is there developmental leagues past day 80 dots ? I know some guys will say most of dots there aren't worth signing but when I started in GLB dots were forced to sign with a human team after the first season (I believe) It forced me to learn to build better as well as get good advice early on. Maybe force University league teams with cpu players to recruit or place from D league before allowing cpu's to fill out the roster ? Obviously playing on a human team is way more fun.

Guys that only sign with CPUs are mostly people you wouldn't want on your team to begin with. I call them "Billy Ryans" http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/home.pl?user_id=258103 . They were pretty much only playing in D-leagues back when this game was hot because they are anti-social deviants.

They explode into rage when you send them a recruiting PM. You only see them post in any forum about once every 5 years and that's just to bitch because they have to work hard to get dots on the same CPU teams. They don't show up in any PFs. Can't figure out how they have internet access up there in that tiny shack in Montana.

Not everyone's interested in dealing with other people, on a MMO football team or in online forums. They have that option, if that's what they want to do.

i run my players on dleague teams until plateau because 99% of the random teams just suck, wont play them, or dont use them properly... i also dont pay attention until day 240-280. I prefer D leagues over random team owners who disband mid season anyway.

that pretty much defeats the entire purpose of this game

if you dont want to play with humans you dont have to be in an online game.....

And you wonder why leagues and league forums are dead. Back in the day you dealt with it, it inspired forum banter, team banter and good old fashion real recruiting if you wanted a dot to stay alive!

Yes, and its stupid to allow that as an option.

The idea had merit during a time where there was a team waiting list. But after that it really should have been caboshed.

Was just a PSA alerting recruiters to never send Billy Ryan a recruiting PM or offer one of his dots a contract.
