Does this setting work? Does it only work at higher levels?

I just had a game where my QB was passing at will in the first quarter. At the beginning of the second quarter it started throwing the ball immediately once the ball was snapped way before any route could develop. This happened for the rest of the game. It is suppose to play as usual for the blitz reaction. I don't care about giving up a sack I just want the play to play out.

A conflict between the dot and both AIs. You have your dot's tactics set to 'run play as usual' against the blitz. The team's preset on offense probably had a high 'auto-adjust' setting and the opposing team's 'auto adjust' went into blitz mode against your offense. Your team's 'auto adjust' lost out.
Your QB starting throwing the ball away...

Not sure how auto adjust would make my QB throw the ball just after the snap. The opposing team blitzed every play. Play as usual should mean just that.

Here my QB stood in the pocket and threw the ball at the right time.

Later in the game same play.

Honestly I'm only speculating.

After watching the two plays you provided I would not agree your QB was throwing 'excessively' early. Both times he had a target but on the second one there wasn't much of a chance, and probably a bad pass/play. Perhaps they were quick route plays due to your offense anticipating the blitz.(auto adjust)

Also your QB doesn't seem to have much for passing skills at this point. Expect more bad throws from him if he's going to do a lot of passing.

If your team's auto adjust is set high and the opposing team's is set high as well, funky things can happen, or at least that's what I've attributed to the cause of some weird play I have seen in the past.

I watched those plays again and I think it is simply just playing bad football. I wouldn't get to hung up on the notion that your QB isn't allowing the play to develop and he's not really meant for throwing, is he?

I have no idea how auto adjust would effect a QBs timing. I thought it adjusted the frequency of a play or package according to success rate.

Pretty much every pay in the 1st quarter was proper. Every play after that quarter the QB chucked the ball with-in a second after the snap. It wasn't bad throws it was over reacting to the blitz. It could be an attribute issue but which one? Maybe the play as usual snap reaction is broke and needs to be renamed sometimes play as usual.

Bad football? No shit, that is why I am here. I am hung up on this. The QB is built to kick peewee ass both running and throwing. I want to know what causes this. The throws are reasonably accurate just way way early.

...could be...

It wouldn't effect the timing. Probably a bad initial diagnosis on my part.

Pressure will cause him to make decisions faster.
High pressure will result in DL deflections, cover deflections, bad passes, dropped balls and interceptions.
The Blitz Reaction setting adjusts that speed from normal to faster is all.
The QB is going to make a bunch of decisions all at the same time; how good the receiver is (odds that he'll catch it compared to his other receivers), how close the receiver is to the first down/TD, where he is in his route, if he's open, etc.
The lower the level the worse those decisions are.
But lucky for you, Bort has buffed passing and catching so much in the lower levels that a 60+% completion rate is normal. You just need your QB set to near 100% open man and he'll, starting with the primary receiver, find the first one open and attempt the pass.
If you want to favor a receiver then dial in a custom checkdown.
If you want to force a receiver as in the STRI HB Flat to the rFB then just load FB/FB/FB/TE/TE on the checkdown.
Or in the case of the SB Overload WR3/WR3/WR3/TE/HB.
Remember in the play box to set your TEs to Run Route and your scats to Play Default or they may or may not go out for the pass.

I know how to do progressions and depth charts. I am just wanting my QB not to fire off passes with-in a second of the snap. Yes the other team blitzes but are no where near the QB. Appears the QB is frightened and just immediately gets rid of the ball before the WR even clears the LoS.

60% completion rate is way high. It seems more around 20% at best come playoff time in PWG.
