At 400 FP a season, GLB would save some cash instead of paying for QB's and 3 boosts per season. Agents, whom have never been team owners can see a different side of GLB, maybe convincing them to stay instead of leaving like a lot have.

Was gonna -1 this and say it would reduce the amount of dots therefore leading to a bigger decline, but

I can't think of a time where there's ever been a demand for QBs, HBs, and returners (which is what most people use their free slot to create) so this suggestion actually would help out this game.

Not buying this side of it. That's a reach IMO.
It is hard enough to fill the teams that are in the game now. How does creating more human owned teams solve this? All it does is thin out the free agent pool even more than it already is, and these new owners would simply get frustrated at their inability to field a team.

I think the first season is free then they gotta pay up.
Unless they wanna sell it and get another team or something.

Maybe a better way of doing this..... Let the person choose which they want... A Free Dot or a Team.
I'm not sure this would change much here but it's a unique idea.

If we were dealing with a surplus of dots that could not find human owned teams, this would be a good idea.

We are short players not teams.
If you remove free players there will be a lot less players created.
What will they learn by running a team of CPU's/
Perhaps they can run D league teams. It will be the same experience.

I support this quote.

There would be a lot less useless dots created. Every offseason we see the "omg why can't I create a free HB" threads.

We are well beyond the point where CPU dots should be competitive.
