Warrior General Games

I am trying to reconstruct which teams and in which leagues a retiring player played.

And that is requiring me to poke around into old games to find who won leagues or who won awards, so I can tell what the league was.

And I am finding that games prior to season 30 are not loading?

Did Bort erase our history?

Looks like it. Or the server got Borted.

Always been that way. When a league gets around 15 seasons old the box scores get dumped, which stinks because box scores shouldn't take up too much space.

Very frustrating, it makes determining what league a team was in back then difficult since many if not most of the teams that won it all back then have either been retired or resold and no longer sport their old trophies. Without a box score you can't find the dots to use their trophies.

Not that that matters so much. But sometimes for the giggles I like to see where a retiring dot played.

It would also stink for the guys who like to post their dots or teams highlight plays.

Ah well, just a game.

If it is affecting the games prior to Season 30, maybe that is because that was when we moved out of Beta.

I blame Obama

Yeah, that shouldn't happen. Its one thing if this games history drifts because the users moved away, but there's not a reason in the world for the history to be lost because actions were taken to wipe it away.

when you dont play the game you dont quite understand certain aspects of what the user base enjoys about it...a big part of this game has always been about stats to me.....i used to enjoy looking back to see how players did in prior seasons vs current dots...i thought it was stupid that teams could just disappear and you couldn't look back on their history in those instances without alot of work...

I totally agree--I was looking just yesterday at a old thread where team members were suggesting various plays that worked well in the redzone. I clicked link after link that was just garbage. Its not as if I expected any of these plays to STILL work well in the redzone after all of these seasons had passed by, but there was the nostalgia factor as well as a slight hope that ONE of those plays might have been a forgotten gem that still had shelf life.

Every once in a while I look back at my old team. Very first time I bought flex, owned a team, and actually cared and tried at dotball. Now the only replays I can watch of my old team is on the youtube vid created for them

RIP BOX SCORES

i was trying to do this today too. i wanted to show how a certain build worked in game but all the player's game were not found. glb seems intent on giving people more reasons to not care any more, aka, to LEAVE
