Right now we're limited to only 1 zone flat option. Give us Strong and Weak zone flat fifth.

I assume you mean the zone to be closer to the LOS. Don't think I would use it, but don't see any harm to adding it. I'd prefer to see the under fourth & fifth zones fixed so the coverage dot didn't run deep out of the zone just because the long side of the field isn't optimal.

Ahh, a sure shot contain. I"m sure that would be popular, lots of people have asked for that. Of course, it's not a sure thing a defender will stay in a zone, especially if they have a high vision. They tend to read and adjust before getting to the zone. I run a lot of zone defenses, some with all the DB & LB in zones and one thing that drives me nuts is the unpredictable way they will sometimes alter where they are going.

Zone Immediately to Flat Fifth would help contain on Goaline plays, just saying.

But if it's broke don't fix it, that's the saying right?
I'll not argue against something like what you are asking, being added which does no harm to the game the players want . But is it really difficult to stop those GL sweeps because there isn't some sort of sideline zone? I would think if that was true, then everyone would be unstoppable. In good competition, do we see all the sweeps go long, most of the sweeps, or a small percentage of them? And when they do go long, how many defenders end up shrunk? My point being? It's probably something else that needs attention, that the zone you want wont change anything except where a defender gets blocked or caked. Those GL sweeps weren't always so nasty, what changed? IMHO, that is what needs adjusting.
