Game will be dead in just over a year, based on the current number of Rookie dots, how many of them will be retired on their way up, and the small number that will be left once they're old enough to play in WL and National Pro. WL and Natty Pro owners at that point won't have enough new and upcoming dots available to replace the older retiring and declining dots, and that will be it for this once-awesome community.

So, no, don't buy Flex. You won't get nearly the same value out of it now that you would've gotten in the past.

Yeah, I had planned on buying more this past Black Friday since I wanted one last wave with a lot of dots but then all the shit went down and I decided against it. I can't imagine you will regret not buying more while you definitely could regret buying some. I have very fond feelings overall towards GLB1, but she's terminal.

Don't blame Bort. He put a ton of effort into GLB1 a lot longer than most games get supported. It was a terrible decision to have another football game be their second offering, but the business decisions have never really been his thing. It's unfortunate that he never got hooked up with someone who knew what they were doing and is instead surrounded by family and friends who leech off of his efforts.

I am going to have to bite the bullet and do it because I have commitments to guys and their teams that I will fulfill.

In a year or less you will never see or hear from them again. I love some of the people here but I'm not naive enough to think I will have any communication with them in the not too distant future.

For what it's worth, the sky has been falling since we launched GLB in 2008.

GLB is still up and active because people enjoy the game and buy flex. This supports the game by paying for the servers and bandwidth.
