I've OC'd in this game for over four years and seen some really weird results from this RNG, yet casual consistently produces the strangest shit...

the defensive call is easy. offense went gl, so so did the defense.

ok, why did the offense go goal line in the middle of the field on 2nd and 11.5?

mind you, this is casual.

Because it's casual. I gave up on casual a long time ago due to far too much random shit happening.

In casual you can still set what formations you run, even if you can't pick the specific plays.

Almost positive that the only way to call goalline play in middle of the field in Casual is using the presets. Regular casual AI will only call goalline plays inside the 5 yard line. To expand further, seeing as it was a rushing QB play, the only preset available to casual that has rushing QB plays is the wildcat preset. I would suspect this play would be part of the wildcat preset and looking at the complete box score and play distribution, I am confident that's what they were running.


Edit to add: there are other presets that will use Goalline in the middle of the field as well (run first and power presets both do this as well), but not with a QB rushing play
