Alright, I need to finish fine-tuning my offense

In the top box, for Max FG Range it mentions LOS+ 17 yards... then there is a box

I am guessing they want you to input the Max FG in yardage right? Not the LOS?

Thanks in advance, I have previously had it set on Auto and that usually works, but as competition gets more serious, I would rather increase my FG-Made percentage and attempt 4th down conversions in more risky FG situations

That has always been a really screwy setting.
Glad to see they are on top of these problems!

Did they fix that auto-reorder thing yet!!

I dont know, I never auto-reorder my depth chart, always manually

I appreciate anyone who can give some info on the FG setting though

Max FG yardage. You also need to set it up in your AI if you are using an advanced AI. I have a Private Forum in which I help out OC's that you can join at any time you like if you would like to know more.

So if the Max FG I want attempted is 42 yards, then I just put 42 into the box?

I can basically ignore the whole "LOS+17" crap? I was worried if I put 42 hes going to be attempting 59 yard FG's

I dont need any other help, my offense runs pretty smooth this is more just fine-tuning for future use

Thank you though

Yes, that's correct.

If you put 42 yards in the box, it will attempt a 42 max FG. The formula just means that the LOS for a 42 yard attempt will be the opponent's 25 yard line.

FG distance is measured from the hold to the goalposts. Kicking from the 30 yard line you aren't kicking a 30 yard FG. You are kicking a 47 yard field goal. It says "Max Field Goal Range, from the place hold to the uprights, LOS + 17 yds". That is how you measure field goal distance. If you type 42 your max FG range will be from the 25 yard line.
