What type of kicker are you trying to build?
Focus on accurate field goals? Focus on long field goals? Focus on long kickoffs? Do you want a kicker who has a chance of making a tackle on a kickoff play?
Need more info.

I've had good luck with kickers.
I focus on kicking and confidence. and then once kicking is close to 90 and confidence is close to 70 then i focus on vision then strength.

Like a balanced kicker but most long kick offs and accurate FG's
those are two different things.

Lots of kicking.
Follow the typical build guides, but I do the following for a kicker:
Intense training and bosting and SP adding to caps as per the usual up to 68. (I will 4 Star upgrade Kicking training)
Buy multi-train on Strength and Vision. (3 or 4 Star these as well).
Triple train Kicking, Strength, and Vision until Strength and Vision are at 34, SP them to 2:1 cap. If you are short SPs, just switch to intense training kicking or let some TP and SP accumulate for a bit. Continue spending SPs on Kicking as you go, capping before boosting whenever possible. Keep training Kicking (S and V) until Kicking is 98/99. Switch to intense training to get Kicking to 99% trained. When Kicking reaches 100, rollover the training. You should be at 100 Kicking sometime in your 40s from what I remember.
Switch Kicking training out for confidence (3 star) and buy agility multi (3 star) (switch these two around if required). Train confidence, strength, vision, and agility.
You can alternate stamina, speed, and finally jumping into the first slot. Should be able to get three AEQ, but you can also go with two pieces and not lose much if you want your SP Value up and your secondary skills improved with an extra season of multis.
Kicking should end up being ~112-115+ without equipment after the ALGs. Strength and Vision will both be high 90s, depending on if and when you decide to stop training them.
Aim on getting stamina to 49 to 55, confidence to 75+, agility to 69+, speed to 49+, jumping to 29+.
AEQ should be kicking +3, SAs.

I may be biased, but this appears to be an end build that works well: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4326885
always has a high % of fgs made, even knocked a 60 yarder through a few seasons ago
I built a little differently, but not enough to make a huge difference

Even on "high confidence" builds like P, K, and QB, I've still never seen the need to get 90+ confidence. I must admit, that is an outstanding build.

I'd have probably sacrificed a few points in confidence for a few in either kicking, vision, or strength if I could, but I'd probably aim for the mid to high 80s if you want to have a high fg made % on the longer kicks.. 18/21 or 85.7% from 50+ in WL is good enough for me

pretty sure super vision is only for defense being able to read play / avoid fakes... don't think it helps kickers

One "foot" at a time, IMO.
Seriously though, you can use the "Boomer" archetype and just pay attention to what Chysil did. You should be happy with the results.

unless they changed it over the years, this be true.
