When I call up a play/package chooser from within a package or under an AI input, colorize or somehow mark all plays/packages in the chooser window that are already used in that package or as an output under that AI input. Get real jiggy and indicate how many times it's used for when you want variations on the same play in a package or as outputs of an AI input......
AI sort, search, and more cut/copy/paste options are still sorely lacking also but we're working that one here http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=5135214 .....maybe......

Perhaps, but this goes to a drum I've been banging on for a LONG time about GLB. Seriously... if it was my baby I'd have several people DEDICATED to the simple job of figuring out ways to make many of the features LESS tedious and much more user friendly. Get AHEAD of issues instead of waiting for them to become reality. But I'm just a user here and have no power to persuade the braintrust to listen. So... sometimes it's sarcasm for/from me.

Can't you just use the rename packages script and toggle them to look it over so you don't use em twice?

I'm not sure what you're "toggling" there. I've got the rename packages script but that's not my fix. I started to say identifying packages wasn't the problem but in the AI editor if you have a fair mix of plays and packages under an input and lots of packages to choose from it's still hard to keep track of what's off-screen since there's no order to how the outputs are displayed. Inside the package editors it's all about play choosing of course but the same principle.
Are you talking about running 2 browser tabs to toggle views?
I do get a lot of use out of my page search and userscripts but bottom line is that maintaining a larger AI is still a pain and there a lot of obvious needs that would improve the experience.
