This has likely been suggested before, but if it has it certainly is not easy to find without a forum search function.

The suggestion is to add GLB Day to the dropdown in the auto-train dialogue.

For example: "Automatically perform this training nightly until GLB Day has reached 32 or greater."

If you don't implement this, then you are unpatriotic and care not for our troops (that can't micro-manage like the rest of us). Think of the children!!!

I hear ya. Being able to set up certain things for things like weekly deployments and such stuff really should be something available. It's not just handy for the servicemen and women but for others as well who find they might be going on a 1 week vacation or such stuff.
+1 for my brothers in arms.

True, but I am trying a political tack this time rather than trying to make sense.
Politicians always try to tug the heart strings with the troops or the children.

Well... that's cool. As a vet of 2 services I was just lending my own experience and knowledge. Even the Guard has 2 weeks a year when they go camping (training) and, as such, usually don't have access to phones or computers. (Trust me... if someone's phone rings while practicing important stuff... someone's gonna need a new phone. ) And there's many other reasons for having this available. We have firefighters that can go out on assignment for extended periods... weather that takes out power for weeks... and much more. It's not like everyone will suddenly start using this suggestion (when implemented) just so they can stay away from GLB longer... but it has good usefulness.

Kinda joking, lol.

I too served twice (Army Reserves and active Navy) so I know how you feel.

+1 ... Good suggestion.

In the short term, you can always get around it by using auto-train until bonus tokens => than [ ]. Then just fill the box in with 999, and try to check in as close to Day 32 as you can. Not as clean as the Day drop down would be ... but it's what I do when there's a big Nor'easter coming in, and I don't know how long the power + internet might be knocked out for.

+1. Unfortunately this idea will not be implemented as GLB classic is no longer being updated. It is all about GLB 2 and GLB Mortal Kombat.

I can see that, as it would take all of 10 minutes max to implement.

10 minute?
You know the change from pulldown list to we can input any number, cost 1 year to implement?

Umm, make an addition to the dropdown list (for day), then link text input to it. Most of the code is already there tbh.
The dropdown list wouldn't be going away, just getting Day added to it.

Coding never be a problem.
The problem is Bort think it's not necessary.

I usually just figure out how many BTs I'll accumulate by the day I want to stop and do it that way.

But a GLB Day option is obviously much more effective.
