It would be nice to have some more options to fine tune our AI's. For example, we can switch to a different input if we are losing a game. However, that doesn't take into account why you are losing that game. Let's say your offense relies heavily on rushing but you have an input to switch to more passing if you're losing. What if your special teams unit gave up a couple of returns and your offense wasn't the problem?

My suggestion is to have special circumstance such as YPC, completion percentage, etc. where you would also choose the number threshold for it to fire.

Starting 1st down input: 50% run & 50% pass.

Down by 10 input and YPC under 2.5 1st down input: 30% run & 70% pass.
Down by 10 input and YPC over 4.5 1st down input: 80% run & 20% pass.

I'm thinking the easiest way to do this would just have team total averages such as the team YPC. A way to have more control would to either tag your own players and be able to specifically choose one of their YPC or choose their slot (RB, RB1, RB2).

The same could be used on the defensive side of the ball.

the problem i have with the inputs is that its based on scoring difference, and not actual score. if its the 4th qtr, 70-70 and 0-0 are treated the same.

Too much to deal with. Things like that would be a lot of work for the like 1% of coordinators that would want to go into that kind of detail.

There is a ton of work that could be done to help the auto-adjust....

the whole AI setup is wonky and reeks of 1995 programming. Why can't we drop and drag packages? or at least cut and paste?
