It occurs to me that at 1 million per promotion, I am laying out $13.89 per customer to give them free nachos.

The nachos only sell for $12, tops.

Someone is skimming $1.88 x 72,000 fans off the top, in excess of $135,000 a game.

the cost is in hiring extra workers to make and distribute said nachos. Also, there are more dropped on the floor due to sheer volume, so you're losing more there as well.

1) Those workers should be there to shill the food anyway.

2) I am not actually paying the $12 for the nachos. My actual cost should be much much less than the menu price.
