Create a Nat Pro D League to filter and place all the gutted and CPU teams. Enough with 255-0 games for half a season!

Pretty sure you're correct, but that doesn't make it okay.

GLB 2 was created to fix this issue
It should reduce the CPU teams quite awesomely

Is it fair to tell a team that rightfully made promotion that they can't have the opportunity to recruit a better team for the upcoming season?

I mean some teams might be no brainers sure, but moves have to be made based on rules not judgments based on a books cover.

which part of looking at the team is too difficult for your tiny brain to understand? a team that wins the lowest # league with half a team is never going to compete in elites if for no other reason than chemistry will kill them. so keep your kissassing to yourself you fucking moron.

Not sure what all the insults are for. I brought up pretty fair questions. The admins don't have the ability to foresee the plans in place for teams. Like I said there are some no brainers out there sure, but if you make blanket assessments on blind judgement it really isn't a very fair process. Rules are set in place for a reason.

As to your example: If that team made an elite league based on the rules set in place, why isn't it fair to give them the opportunity to recruit players in order to compete? Who is to say they weren't trying to get to elite so that they could add the rest of their team? If a team of 40 guys wins APL are the admins to deny them because APL was weak in comparison to USAPL? No, because the rules are set in place for a reason.

Let's not pretend like rules are followed with any regularity.

SCM made the playoffs in WL last season and was demoted all the way to RP#3. Without so much as even a PM to alert 7 it was going to happen. He wasn't given a chance to recruit, just demoted. Not demoted to Pro like teams that didn't make the playoffs, nope, all the way to RP#3.

When there were enough leagues in casual to make it interesting, season after season there would be 3-4 teams per conference who were cpu, while there were competitive teams outside of elite just kicking ass all by themselves.

Five minutes looking over these leagues would have prevented things like that from happening. In most cases, there wouldn't have even been a need for the competitive league if some time had been spent going over them. I use casual because that's where I spend most of my time, but I'm sure the same could be said for the regular leagues as well. In any case, that's pretty much a wasted season for the lonely team in the competitive league. Outside of the tournaments there isn't a meaningful game all season for those teams.

I know fully well the rules get jacked up from time to time but that is a lot to do with lack of communication between team owners and support as well as a gap in the support system of not really understanding the rules in place some of time.

The basic thing here is you can't just assume someone is going to suck or not try.

I'm not trying to bash support, but this is season 38. How long have the restructured leagues been in place now? 10-15 seasons at least. How long does it take to learn rules the userbase learned before they were even implemented?

You can assume a cpu team isn't going to be as competitive as a full rostered human team though, right? Seems like common sense to me.

Understandably frustrating and I don't see the support tickets many of the times to know the full stories on many occasions. Plus I believe Catch may have handled a lot of the league structure stuff over the seasons.
