And probably my first forum vacation to boot. The powers that be don't want it to be shown just how terribly they fail at fixing a simple mistake.

I'm not sure why there's not some sort of triage work done in the Support team, as in "This one is a name change, it can wait..." versus "This one is a CPU team in the most important tier of the Casual game--we better look into this one NOW".

It wasn't sarcasm--not all problems are equal in terms of the immediacy of the attention they deserve.

Agree. It would be acceptable to if that were the case. But this team has had the attention of site admins for several days now by multiple individuals.

Yep. Downright irresponsible. This was the simplest of judgement calls and would literally have taken a couple minutes of time for anybody remotely familiar.

Very disappointing. I am grateful they got my team back in the league, but Midwest Mafia had to volunteer their spot for us because they wouldn't move out the CPU team for the defending western conference champions. (Our owner was sick and forgot to renew).

By the way, for anyone unfamiliar with the situation, this guy bought that team after it went CPU in the playoffs, and logs on about once every 3 or 4 days.

Don't give the customers hope or answers to serious GLB topics or they will lock this thread up as they did mine

Yep. I play Casual and enjoy it. Casual Pro is the top tier for those of us that choose that portion of the game. You cannot buy CPU teams in WL, and for the same (very valid reason) reason, you should not be able to buy CPU teams in Casual Pro. This could screw up the balance of the Eastern Conference or could wind up costing a team a playoff spot because a middle of the road team gets a freebie for opening day, while other middle of road teams may have tougher cross conference matchups. It is also going to lead to ridiculous stats with the 255-0 game thrown in there.

I will take it a step farther and say no Natty Pro team (Casual or Regular) should be able to be bought. Leave the team CPU until promotions/demotions, and then demote to Reg Pro and then once in Reg Pro, they can be bought.

I'm pretty sure that will happen eventually anyways. I've never had a forum ban in 5+ years here, and I'm not aiming for one. But this situation was brought to light in a much more subdued matter previously. That attention was essentially ignored.

should have been fixed day 41/42 at the latest, it is rather pathetic..............
