So it just occurred to me, that there is an uncanny amount of similarity between the story of GLB and Breaking Bad. Could it be our lovable, nerdy, genius developer Bort (aka P̶e̶t̶e̶r̶ Walter) is really leading a second life as a crime boss?
Emphatically yes! For the non-believers, let me pull back the curtain on [Br]eaking [Bor]T and expose the shocking secrets of P̶e̶t̶e̶r̶ Walter and his unwitting sidekick Jesse Pinkman.
⊗ Bortsenberg has many, many lackeys and cronies who fear him and almost always do his bidding - whom I will identify with their counter part in the based on the tv series loosely based on P̶e̶t̶e̶r̶ Walter's life shortly.

⊗ Pallow AKA Sal Goodman - The lawyer of the forums, spending much of his time cleaning up the messes that DD's miscues get Bortsenberg and his empire into.
⊗Corndog aka Cornblade aka Deathblade aka Stinky Pete - A hipster young man with moderately bad acne and of questionable ethnic background - his nickname comes from a combination of bad body odor causing him to smell like an LSU Fan (Google it they smell like Corndogs, officially) and his love for P̶e̶t̶e̶r̶
⊗ Max Zorin AKA Skylar - Bortsenberg's wife, who holds a high ranking position in his empire. In GLB universe she cooks the books through and helps to launder and hide the money coming in. Her image as a seemingly innocuous Admin and Wife is vital to helping Bortsenberg maintain the front of a legitimate internet gaming site - rather than the vast criminal enterprise that has made him rich beyond his wildest dreams.
⊗ Hank aka Aahrens Hendrix AKA the One who shall not be named - In the end this unsuspecting outsider was whacked by Bortsenbergs associates for knowing too much. He unwittingly provided knowledge and insight to the Bortsenberg and DD Pinkman on how to avoid capture, detection and arrest for their criminal activities. Ultimately this proved to be his demise.
The proof
⊗ Bort much like Heisenberg is better known only by his secret alias to all of his customers. His name strikes fear in the heart of every buyer of his product
⊗ Bort uses his superior intelligence to manipulate his primary Cronie DD Pinkman into doing the dirty work. DD is in charge of the business side of his empire if you will. Distribution, customer service, helping to test the product.
⊗ Jesse Pinkman .... hmm DD's pretty Pinkman, ever seen his pics? Some would say red, some would say pale - but he's Pink, man. Anyway Jesse is - a career criminal, with a temper - but still a lovable protagonist in the story of [Br]eaking [Bor]T.
⊗ Jesse is also in charge of keeping track of the other cronies and goons, most notably Stinky Pete (Cornblade)
⊗ Bortsenberg forces the dense, but lovable Jess into doing the 'dirty work' which may include angering, banning or out right whacking employees and customers alike.
⊗ Jesse struggles with his inner demons at every turn, the burden of Bortsenbergs Empire ways heavily on him as he struggles desperately to keep his humanity while doing the evil Bort's bidding. He is constantly relapsing in and our of fits of rage and comedy on the forums because of this.
The Criminal Empire
⊗ Sometime in the not so distant Bortsenberg devised a scheme to write a platform for pedaling his evil product on the web. A new form of super drug, similar to crack for geeks.
⊗ He called this drug "FLEX"
⊗ Bortsenberg sold his product under the guise of an online browser game, because a car wash was too expensive to purchase when he was still inhabiting the basement of his mother's cousin's uncle in Portland
⊗ In the end Bort developed an empire off the backs and bucks of "FLEX" addicts, destroying anything, and anyone who threatened his new found source of riches.
⊗ After the death of Hank Ahrens it wasn't long before the greed and volatile nature of the business drove Bort mad, leading him to whack all his other associates - before dying from the cancer he contracted from reading the forums that drove him to this endeavor in the first place.
Thus our tale ends with all the Admins fired, and the mighty Bortsenberg lying on his back in a basement server room - the very place he loved the most - the place that put him on this evil path. His quest for money, and power over.
