Ball carrying tactics
My question is on the elusive and power slider.
If your running back has 90 speed and 60 elusive about were do you need the slider to be on the elusive side.
The same for a power runner that has 90 strength and 60 agility were would you like to have the slider on the power side.
Thanks for any advice

most pHB's I put at 51 to the power side for the bruiser VA bonus

90 speed/60 Agility eHB I guess 75 elusive might be good, but I would recommend waiting to get more opinions on that one

I've had decent success keeping the slider at 50 unless the agility is above 50... then matching the agility to the slider within a 10 number range (example; if your agility is 60, then a setting of 55-65 I would say). You can push it a bit here and there... especially the higher your agility is (like if your agility was 75, then a setting of 85 could be considered).
As for a Power Runner... since there's no advantage to setting your slider to low number (you don't get more power by having a lower setting), then I see no reason to set it below 40, really. And I'd probably leave it between 40 and 50. You kinda don't want a power back trying to act like an elusive because most people have their AEQ and SA's and VA's set for the "power" style... not the "elusive"... and you'd wanna take advantage of those bonuses. But setting it really low won't mean those advantages would trigger a lot more so between 40 and 50 should work fine.

^ pHB has to be set to 51 on power side for bruiser to work

Bruiser is a pHB's best VA

Well I should say 51 power side of slider -or- more, but 51 is good cause it still allows some mobility and things like juke will still fire(if your pHB has the SA)

With numbers that low(90/60) then yeah I could agree with the above statements. Once you are much higher I go -100 or 100.

Bad advice on both counts IMO

-100 for pHB leaves little room for side to side, juke, or tackle avoidance movements.
-51 is good IMO

100 is super elusive, dots gonna dance to much.
99 is good IMO

Talkin end builds here, not the current attributes the OP stated

exactly...IYO. Everyone does things differently. All I said was when higher, "I GO" with -100 and 100. For 37 seasons my dots have all have great success. So ill continue to go with -100 and 100 by end build. And he didnt say anything about his Powerback having juke or fakemoves. If thats the case then yeah i would go quite -100. But when I do build powerbacks I build them straight power and dont give them elusive SAs, therefore I go with -100 running.

If you're talking about your scat backs that are just hitting L25, it's going to depend on which VAs you pick up. At this stage of your career that's pretty much the only factor

For an elusive back your age, you're going to want somewhere between 51 and 99. That allows the Slippery VA to work. There's no right or wrong answer, it's your dot and you'll be the one watching the replays. just be methodical about it. Try 51. If you want more wiggle, try 75. As your agility grows you'll want to be adjusting it anyway.

Ya know... I get this but my mistake comes from getting dyslexic on the slider. I suppose I should've just said "be sure to be on the power side of the slider. It just seems weird that the number gets BIGGER when you move the slider to the left... and smaller going the other way. I mean, max elusive should be +100, ya know? So 51 would be on the wrong side if that were true. So damned confusing... But I know what I meant. On the POWER side of the slider, somewhere between 50 and (60? I guess). My question... does it have to be EXACTLY 51? Or just on the "POWER SIDE" by at least 1???

The number gets smaller when you move it to the left...

Slider goes:

-100 -> 0 -> 100

First off you dont have to have it at 51. It has to be ATLEAST 50 power for Bruiser. So with that being said take the guys that said 51's advice with a grain of salt. Not unless bort said at some point in the past it has to be above 50. But in the description it clearly says atleast 50.

Also keep in mind what worked good from season 1 to season 31 is not the same as what works good in season 37

Does not really matter what kind of success one had back when the game changes every season, it's what works best now.
