I played long ago before a lot of changes took place. Owned a team, CFO'd quite a lot of teams, did some Offensive Coordinating and had a lot of players.

I am back and want to get back in the swing of things here. I'll be making new players for next season and am looking for a person or group that would be willing to help me back into the game. I have a lot of flex to spend on players and potentially even purchase up a team.

I'd love it if there are players interested in adding me to a group or want to partner up with me. I'll have to do some catching up on the FAQs, etc. to learn all the new parts of the game at this point, but I am looking forrward to the next season.

If anyone has any suggestions or anything, I am totally open for that as well. (Positive suggestions please)

Thank you.

Well I just returned this past season and have learned quite a bit about the changes to the game. I do not consider myself an expert by any stretch but I can certainly answer any of the more basic to intermediate questions for you. Is there anything in particular you need to know?

I love how the MLB is moving his feet/legs forwards but going backwards. Almost looks like super cool moon-walking.

welcome back

I don't have a "group" , and no intentions of making a rookie team next season, but more than willing to answer any questions you may have that I know the answers to (regarding GLB)

I love how the HB just runs his route. Gets covered then stops moving.

Seems legit. I mean, at least they are not dots, so when the animation logic makes no sense, you can see legs and stuff.

GLB1 or GLB2? Are you privledged enough to have a headstart in that game as a tester? I would like to get someone to teach me the GLB2 so my free players do not fall too far behind compared to the people who are Bort's friends that get to play now.

Kewl non-dot crap, yea. I swear to god, I was getting sick of these crisply, cleanly animated circles, I've been hoping for poorly animated figurines for like 2 years now. My prayers have been answered.

Thanks guys.

I guess 1 thing that would be helpful is players and boosting.

I remember before it was often a good idea for new players to boost at the end of the season, or towards the end of the season (I forget if there was a cutoff date to boost).

What is the "suggested" strategy when it comes to building new players?

Also, I'm trying to go through some of the game guides now as far as player builds. But I remember from before, for example, building a DE, there were really 2 schools of thought. Your heavy STR builds, with AGI/SPD/Tackle being more secondary and there were high AGI/SPD builds with STR/Tackle being more secondary.

What is it that teams are looking for in a good build. (And yes, I do plan on spending time reading through the forums to re-learn as much as I can before the new season comes around).

I am assuming GLB2 is an entirely different game, meaning I would not be able to transfer my flex over there? If that is the case, I think I'll stick it out here and enjoy the flex that I acquired so long ago. It is quite a lot.

Lastly, terminology. I am reading one guide right now, and am lost on a few things:

3AE
4AE (no idea what they are talking about here, is it Advanced Equipment?)

Are there any CPU teams that pick up players automatically like they did before? It seems that you can't train players if not on a team. When should I create new players for next season? Day 40?

For now, that is it. I've already answered a lot of my questions I was originally putting into this response by reading various guides.
