My dot is level 70 with 21 boosts and I've boosted every season. My dot stopped receiving XP on 8/25 when he was level 67 and today (10/7) is only 257 days old. How does the rolling level cap work?

It sucks that I can't level up anymore because I'm at a disadvantage with my custom EQ that I would be able to level up again at level 72. I've boosted at every opportunity but am still getting capped. That really sucks.

I've been very limited in my time to get on here, so I just noticed this. Obviously should have noticed earlier, but I'm not happy.

Can I only get to 79 by waiting to boost again?

You likely didn't boost your first offseason. My dots of equivalent age are also at the normal stop, but at level 73.

It is correct that the only remaining level gains will now come from boosting. Everyone boosts 30 times in a career in order to have a level 79 dot (you'll be able to boost those 3 you 'missed' once you reach plateau).

The XP stop is just a product of the system we operate in. Every dot hits it. The benefit is that it stops a lot of the shenanigans that used to occur surrounding XP
