Is it just me? My home page is in perpetual loading mode.

It updates when I refresh,but never actually finishes loading. Everything shows up on screen, but the loading keeps going and going and going

If your using tampermonkey on google chrome.....tampermonkey made some updates that may have affected your scripts.
Just remove the scripts and re-install them again

not using chrome, or tampermonkey

it only affects my home page. everything loads but page shows that it is still loading, and inbox/alert on top of page stays ?/?

when onany other page (like this one I am on now,or a team or player page ect ect) it "finishes" loading and inbox/alert shows correct numbers

are you using any homepage re-write script?

not that I'm aware of. didn't even know there was such a thing

this just started happening yesterday, and I have not added any new scripts since like last Dec when I got this laptop

There is a homepage re-write script so you might want to check if thats whats causing your problems.

If not contact support but expect to wait at least 3 days before you get a response

Check your anti-virus software, sometimes that can cause some things on the site to act up

It could also be TMDS...(Too Many Dots Syndrome)

If the page is open but it looks like its still loading...might be your signal strength or if your on wifi you may just need to reset your router.
