How many typically do you want to try? If going for 4 pieces as opposed to 3? Seems like I can't get anything even remotely close for my archtype or majors so I have to keep rerolling. I don't want to over do it and run out of BT's.

Approach it with the following mindset:
* You're rolling for ONE piece, MAYBE two if you get lucky. Resign yourself to the fact that you're going to have to build the other pieces.
* Set a budget of how many times you can roll without wrecking the build. Once you hit that limit, WALK AWAY.
* Keep a disciplined yet open mind when it comes to what is acceptable. A +3 (alone) in your dot's highest attribute will work--you can add an SA to it after purchasing it. Ditto for a SA alone that you prize for the endbuild--you can add a +3 to an attribute after you buy the piece.

When I enhanced the +3 and the +5 it cost me 200BT
When I upgraded +5spd It cost 150....
So what exactly is happening.
Also:
Speed +5 +3 +SV piece cost me 238BT.
But that's not finished...
Who knows price to fully build and enhance a SV piece and MT 5% piece.?
+30BT for each speed upgrade. And Idk? I'm guessing you get 13 upgrades on attributes so that's 390BT alone for upgrades.

30 BTs per upgrade. AEQ can be upgraded 10 times for a maximum of +10 to attributes at a cost of 300 BT.
You can also enhance the AEQ with a +1,2, or 3 bonus to an attribute to get up to +13 to an attribute. The +3 costs 50 BTs to add.
You can also enhance AEQ with an SA or a % something. An SA starts at +1 and increases by +1 every two upgrades, so at level 10 you will have +6 to an SA. Buying SAs costs anywhere from 18 BTs to 75 BTs depending on the price for each SA.
% equipment starts at +2, 3, or 5% and increases by 1% every level. % equipment has a stacking penalty, so even though your second piece shows +15% Something, it is in fact only increasing Something by 7.5%. It costs 36 BTs to add a 3% piece and 75 BTs to add a 5% piece when buying AEQ.

AEQ really is confusing when you are still learning. Think back to your early experiences in this game. Jampy is one of the few actually trying to get good at it.

Another way to look at it is it costs 19 BT to buy a 5% piece after you finally roll it. It takes 75 BT to build that piece. 75-19=56/3=18.6 so if you roll that piece in less that 18 rolls you are ahead. You can decide for yourself when you want to stop rolling based on how many BT you will have by the end of your build.
1st piece is much easier to get than the last piece since by then you want 1 specific piece and will probably also have to spend 15 BT to convert it to the spot you need.
I roll for my 1st 2 and depending on how far ahead I am on BT's roll a specific amount of times and if I don't get it by then, I just build it because you dont want to be short BT and end up missing the last upgrade.
