I'm pretty sure one of my toons has a bum X factor is there something I can do to fix it?

Once your player gets the bad karma it's impossible to remove and he will suck no matter how good your build is.

Sell your Custom EQ. Then, buy new Custom EQ. You don't have to change any of the characteristics, but this works.
