If I am stacking 2 ffum pieces,

Can I get away with a 5% and a 2%?

Or should I risk rolling for a 3 or 5.
thx

You're looking at:

5% and 2% = 21%
5% and 3% = 21.5%
5% and 5% = 22.5%

imo as long as the first piece is a 5% it isn't a crime to go with a 2% to save BTs

If I find a 5% piece in an already taken EQ slot,

am I better off rolling for a new piece, or should i use the converter

Just never move the piece until you have finished shopping. It would be a shame to move a piece and then end up finding the perfect piece in the slot you just moved your AEQ into.

Definitely do it. The cost to convert will usually be MUCH less than what you'll spend to continue rolling for the same 5% on a different piece. 5%'ers don't come round twice very often... and you'll really be pissed if it DOES come back around... but on the same damn piece. (been there... done that.)
